You can run the Windows version of Minitab 17 and 18 on a Mac by using Parallels.
Here then are two ways to get Minitab on a Mac. One is by installing Windows on your Mac using Parallels and the other is using the lite version Minitab Express which does work on macOS. However don’t stress as here we show you two ways to get these earlier versions of Minitab running on your Mac. Minitab is one of the best statistical software out there but unfortunately Minitab 17 and Minitab 18 for Mac do not exist. This also gives you the advantage of having Windows on your Mac which can be useful in other ways too. The latest version of Minitab 19 currently costs $1611 for a single user license so you may still find it considerably cheaper to follow the instructions below and install an earlier version of Minitab anyway. The instructions in this tutorial are only required if you want to run an earlier version of Minitab on your Mac such as Minitab 17/18 or if you are running macOS High Sierra 10.13 or lower. Update: Minitab 19 has now been released for Mac although it only works on Mojave, Catalina and Big Sur.
